About
SCharge is building a network of electric-car charging stations in Ulaanbaatar. Today there is one station, and the app is on its way to the stores.
Who is building it
SCharge is run by Sutain Buyant Zakh LLC, a member of the Sutain Buyant group. The company has worked in property rental, retail and services for 19 years and employs more than 500 people.
The pilot station sits inside the company own market, which is why the station opening hours follow the market ones.
What we built
The server that talks to the charger, the driver app and the operator console were all developed in house rather than licensed from a third-party platform.
That is what lets us set our own tariffs, bring other operators stations into a single app, and issue each operator e-receipts under their own name.
Why now
Registered electric cars in Mongolia grew from 659 in 2022 to 2,169 by the end of 2025, roughly tripling in three years. Most of them are in Ulaanbaatar.
Charging infrastructure has not kept pace, and stations run on different apps, so drivers end up installing several. SCharge is an attempt to gather that fragmentation into one app.
